Mango Banana Smoothie topped with some fresh Mangoes, almond flakes and Chia seeds.
Breakfast Bowls are a wonderful way to nourish the body at the beginning of the day. Using fresh fruits add to the taste.
Ingredients -
1/2 Cup frozen Bananas
1/4 Cup frozen Mangoes
1/2 Cup Milk
1 tsp Honey (optional)
1 Mango chopped
Almond flakes
Chia seeds
Instructions -
In a blender jar add the frozen Bananas and Mangoes and blend it to a thick puree. Add milk and blend again.
POur in a bowl and add honey. You can skip adding honey if you like. Top it with some fresh chopped mangoes ,almonds and chia seeds and done.
This healthy and delicious smoothie bowl is ready.
Pro- Tip : Freeze and store seasonal fresh fruits chopped in air-tight containers to be consumed later. Freeze fresh fruits for a couple of hours for a thick smoothie.
I have used frozen bananas and mango cubes for the smoothie(The fruits were chopped and frozen a day ago). You can also use fresh mangoes and bananas. Feel free to switch the fruits with the fruits of your choice.And use the fruits that are in season to keep things fresh. Making the most of the Mango season before the summer ends.
